This home's parlor floor had previously functioned as a busy playroom. The brief was to lighten up the dark, north facing Brownstone with a neutral palette. This included transforming the kitchen from dated, heavy wood to a light and airy white. We struck a perfect balance, honoring the original hundred-year-plus millwork throughout and juxtaposing it with timeless furnishings and sculptural light fixtures with modern silhouettes.
