Lexi Brandfon
Lexi Brandfon is the principal designer of Lex & Hudson, a boutique design studio based in Brooklyn and serving New York City and Connecticut. It was Lexi’s penchant for designing memorable, responsive spaces that organically led to her founding her namesake firm. Following the 2015 renovation of her own home, she was repeatedly asked by friends to recreate the same feel in their own homes. By 2019, she was taking clients in a formal capacity, propelled by word of mouth about her ability to elevate not only the aesthetic of a home, but the way you live there.

Lex & Hudson quickly gained momentum, attracting a loyal client base in Brooklyn who appreciated Lexi’s ability to merge timeless craftsmanship with modern livability. Since, she has gained extensive experience leading projects in new and historic homes. Most of her current projects are partial or full renovations as well as furnishings, and she approaches each one with a spark of curiosity and an undeniable eye for detail.
Growing up in a historic home in Tuxedo Park, New York, character, visual storytelling, and craftsmanship made up Lexi’s most familiar environment. Her love of travel and exposure to diverse cultures continue to inform her approach today, whether she’s honoring the storied details of an older home or cultivating character in a new build. With degrees in history and art history from Emory University, Lexi is a curator first—composing pieces old and new to bring depth, texture, and warmth to every space. Today, her roster of clients spans New York and Connecticut, representing countless spaces where she has applied her soulful yet unfussy style. Lexi lives in Brooklyn with her husband and three children and most enjoys guiding families like hers to live in homes that embrace and enhance their lives.
